In this role you’ll build out the tooling that manages and monitors production datasets, keeping them flowing, observable, and reliable. You’ll work closely with other engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver a mission-critical platform that prevents material trading losses.\nYour responsibilities will include: \nDeveloping and maintaining a platform which ensures the quality and correctness of our datasets, and alerts stakeholders to critical production issues \nMaintaining and improving shared libraries which are used by developers across the data-function and facilitate the rapid onboarding of new datasets\nDesigning, building, and documenting our integrations with other team’s processes, which alert them to relevant issues with our data-pipelines\nSupporting users in best practice usage of our tooling, migrating code to the latest standards as well as investigating, debugging and resolving issues with our platform \nYour present skillset: \nBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field \nPrevious experience in software engineering, exposure to financial data is a plus \nStrong computer science fundamentals and proficiency in Python/Rust \nFamiliarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure \nExposure to the front-end, particularly with regards to custom monitoring dashboards, is a plus \nKnowledge of data-quality frameworks (Soda/Great Expectations) is a plus \nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with other engineers, quants and traders \nAbility to work autonomously within a global team \nQRT is an equal opportunity employer.
