Collaborating with Windows, UNIX, Network and database teams the candidate will work on designing solutions to meet shared storage requirements to support QRT’s needs - covering Windows file shares, NFS shares, performant storage attached networks for database clusters etc. The role will include building and maintaining vendor relationships, product selection, design and implementation. The role will also include development of a data backup solution and will involve contributing to QRTs business continuity plans.\nAs well as design work the role is a technical, hands-on position.\nYour present skillset:\nYou will have 5+ years of experience in storage systems administration and platform engineering\nYou have delivered, tuned and maintained optimised enterprise grade storage solutions\nYou will have excellent working knowledge of storage protocols (SMB, NFS, S3)\nYou will have good working knowledge of Linux and Windows OS\nYou will have a proven track record of developing and implementing data backup strategies\nYou work well as part of a team and excel in a collaborative environment\nYou have excellent communication and documentation skills\nQRT is an equal opportunity employer.
