The Associate, Client Accounting, will be assigned to a UTA department and will serve as a point person for all accounting issues related to that department. This role will be responsible for working closely with agents and assistants to capture timely and accurate booking information in a GAAP-compliant accounting environment. This position is based in Beverly Hills, California.\nOn a day-to-day basis, this role will entail new client bookings, review and modify existing bookings as necessary to reflect updated performance dates, meet with Agents/Assistants on a routine basis, and provide reporting to Agents to facilitate forecasting and collections. The Associate, Client Accounting, will establish and monitor quality metrics and continuously seek improvement in the process of tracking client bookings.\nThe salary range for this role is $72,500 to $75,000 commensurate with experience and skills.\nWhat You Will Do\nMeet with assigned agents regularly (1-2 times per month) and their assistants weekly to ensure complete and accurate booking data and reports\n\nEnsure client payments are processed quickly and accurately and in compliance with all legal and tax requirements.\n\nLiaise with clients and agents directly on invoices, statements, debits, tax matters, and any account questions/concerns they may have.\n\nEnter and maintain client bookings and review data for accuracy and completeness while considering revenue recognition standards\n\nCoordinate with counterparts at other companies as necessary to complete booking details\n\nProvide regular reporting to agents to facilitate forecasting, collections, and insights into client performance\n\nCoordinate with the Cash Management team as necessary to ensure payments are applied to the correct booking\n\nProvide exceptional customer service to agents and other stakeholders\n\nUnderstand accrual accounting, contracts administration, and systems to identify opportunities to improve the client booking process\n\nBuild long-term relationships based on trust and confidentiality\n\nAssist with ad hoc requests\n\nWhat You Will Need\nBachelor’s degree required\n\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred\n\n3+ years of any accounting experience preferred\n\nEntertainment experience preferred\n\nPrior experience in a customer service-focused role\n\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail\n\nSelf-motivated and tenacious; to be successful, the role requires proactive persistence and follow-up\n\nProficient in Excel and Outlook\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to handle very high volume of transactions\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nGeneral understanding of fundamental accounting principles\n\nSolid relationship-building skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels (including management)\n\nHigh-energy level and a strong work ethic.
