You’ll use your expertise in quantum error correction (QEC) and your pedagogical skill to create learning experiences that enable users on our existing and upcoming neutral-atom quantum systems as they transition from NISQ workflows into the fault-tolerant (FTQC) era. Deliverables can take many forms but include lessons, tutorials, quizzes, hackathon challenges, and presentations tailored to users across industry, academia, and national labs. This is a role for a motivated Quantum Scientist who is also passionate about educational outreach and enablement of technical audiences.\nSome travel may be required for workshops, conferences, and hackathons.\nResponsibilities\nDeliver education, both internally and externally, of novel research results and methods in QEC and fault-tolerance.\nDesign, author, and maintain structured and hands-on learning materials (courses, tutorials, notebooks, problem sets, quizzes, and challenge tracks) aligned with Bloqade and neutral-atom hardware capabilities.\nProduce clear, accurate technical presentations and demos for customers, partners, conferences, and hackathons; deliver live and online instructions.\nCollaborate with product, research, and solutions teams to ensure contents reflect the latest features, APIs, and hardware constraints.\nTranslate new R&D into learner pathways; define objectives and assessments; use learner data and feedback to iterate and improve.\nDrive customer/partner enablement and community programs (hackathons, forums, workshops) and expand documentation to lower adoption barriers.\nQualifications\nAdvanced experience in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (PhD or MSc/BSc with equivalent experience).\nStrong foundation in quantum information/science and comfort spanning algorithmic building blocks, software tooling, data analysis, and hardware limitations.\nExperience executing quantum algorithms on real quantum systems, and adapting quantum circuits to the constraints of these real systems.\nFamiliarity with quantum error correction, including implementation of quantum algorithms in an error-corrected setting.\nExperience creating technical education materials or teaching (tutorials, workshops, developer content), coupled with a demonstrated interest in research-informed, advanced pedagogy and experience deploying technical education materials into online platforms.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.\nCollaborative mindset and the discipline to deliver high-quality content independently.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDemonstrated track record of QEC and FTQC research including through scientific publications and presentations.\nFamiliarity with neutral-atom quantum computing platforms.\nExperience with Bloqade or other QIS tooling for scientific computing.\nTrack record running hackathons and building developer communities.\nComfort with data analysis to evaluate learning outcomes and improve curricula.\nThe approximate base salary range for this position is $130,400 - $211,900.\nWe consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly. We determine base compensation decisions on several factors, including as geographic placement, role-specific knowledge, skills, and/or experience.
