Your work will advance fault-tolerant logical operations and quantum algorithms, with opportunities to collaborate with academic and industry partners.\nRequired Qualifications\nPhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience\nExpertise in quantum error correction and a strong foundation in quantum computing\nResearch contributions in QEC demonstrated through publications or software\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across disciplines\nScientific programming skills in Python, C++, or a comparable language\nPreferred Qualifications\nDesign of fault-tolerant logical operations or estimates of their resource requirements\nCircuit-level QEC simulation, noise modeling, and logical error benchmarking\nExperimental collaboration or QEC implementation on hardware, especially neutral atoms\nHigh-performance or real-time decoder development in software or hardware\nHigh-performance computing or machine learning applied to QEC\nThe approximate base salary range for this position is $130,400 - $211,900.\nWe consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly. We determine base compensation decisions on several factors, including as geographic placement, role-specific knowledge, skills, and/or experience.
