If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.\nThis role is remote and due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required.\nRoles & Responsibilities: ·\nUse computational tools to perform thermal and/or CFD analysis for gas turbine components and turbomachinery\nLead the effort in development of geometry and mesh for analysis models along with the necessary model setup and analysis of those models\nPost-process and prepare high-quality presentations of results · Prepare and present reports on findings on formal technical reviews\nCreate, support and maintain secondary airflow system models and whole engine models\nDevelop and participate in root cause and/or risk failure mode and error analysis (FMEA) for gas turbine engines\nSupport test and fielded hardware verification and validation efforts This position description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and employee will also perform other tasks as assigned.\nRequired Skills (Technical Competency):\nThe successful candidate is detail oriented and highly collaborative. There will be a significant amount of interaction with the customer’s teams. Listening to the customer’s issues and offering proactive solutions is critical to building a strong relationship with this new customer.\n4-8 years’ experience in CFD Analysis, Aero-Thermal, Secondary Airflow Systems\nBS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent\nFamiliar with fluid dynamics and heat transfer theory\nExposure to the gas turbines is highly preferred\nDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under time constraints, maintain composure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously\nExperience with Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent or CFX is highly preferred\nProficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel required\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment\nLike to work in a fast paced, creative environment\nEnjoy people and dynamic teams with diverse experiences. We have fun together!\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:\nRemote\nSubstantial amounts of telephone/video conferencing and computer work.\nHeavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.\nFlexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.\nTypical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM\nAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
