If you’re driven to design, develop, and test technology that truly makes an impact, you’ll feel at home here. \nQuest Defense Systems and Solutions is actively hiring FPGA Engineers to design and verify digital logic solutions for major FPGA platforms including Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi. Work spans the full development lifecycle - requirements definition, architecture, VHDL coding, simulation, integration, debug, documentation, and support through production. Applications include gigabit serial interfaces, RF/EO DSP, controls, embedded processing, and processor interfaces. Engineers collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers through every stage of development. \nWe are hiring FPGA Engineers at various levels!\nLocation: Onsite Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is available\nCitizenship: Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required. \nClearance: Active DoD Security Clearance \nWhat you will be doing: \nArchitect FPGA-based systems, determining interfaces, device selection, and concept of operations (CONOPS). \nTranslate system-level requirements into FPGA requirements. \nDesign and code FPGA implementations in VHDL with emphasis on reliability and maintainability. \nPerform simulation, place-and-route, and verification using both directed tests and constrained-random techniques. \nTrack functional and code coverage during verification. \nIntegrate and debug designs in lab environments. \nDeliver production-quality FPGA releases from prototype through full production. \nCreate detailed documentation: requirements, verification plans, user guides. \nSupport internal and external technical reviews. \nQualifications You Must Have: \nFPGA Engineer - Mid -Level \nMinimum 5 years ’ experience including at least one of: Digital design & VHDL coding \nXilinx or Microsemi device/tools experience \nDelivering FPGA solutions to system-level applications \n• Hands-on integration & debug \n\nFPGA Engineer - Senior/Principal Level \nMinimum 8 years of experience including at least one of the above areas. \nAbility to support complex design efforts from concept through production. \nExperience of collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. \nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience in radar or image processing (RF/EO). \nEmbedded systems design using ARM, Microblaze, or Nios processors. \nExperience with gigabit serial interfaces and multi-gigabit transceivers (MGTs). \nUVM/System Verilog-based constrained-random verification. \nVerification using emulation platforms such as Veloce. \nThe QDSS Advantage: \nAt QDSS, our advantage is purpose-driven work, collaborative teams, and complex challenges that push boundaries and build lasting impact.
