This position for an individual with educational and/or professional experience in the development of solutions to GPS Navigation Systems. This individual will be required to run and test modeling and simulation of algorithmic models using Simulink and MATLAB. The work is highly technical, and the individual must be comfortable with documenting equations, derivations, and generating plots in MATLAB. The individual must be comfortable with data and statistical analysis. In addition to Model-based Development work, the role will also include lab-based contributions on the target products.\nLocation: Cedar Rapids, IA. Relocation assistance is available\nU.S. citizenship is required.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTest and validate navigation algorithms and algorithmic models using MATLAB and Simulink.\nDevelop tools and test infrastructure needed to perform comprehensive model and algorithm testing.\nConduct analyses for system troubleshooting\nImprove code quality by performing code reviews and good software practices\nAnalyze data using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques\n Required Qualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with at least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced STEM degree with at least three years of relevant experience.\nExperience in MATLAB and Simulink\nExperience in Code optimization and/or numerical stability\nExperience in the Systems Engineering discipline\nExperience in reading and developing algorithm descriptions, mathematical expressions and derivations, matrix manipulations, outlier analysis, and system level analysis\nAbility to work onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.\nU.S. citizenship is required.\nThe successful candidate must be able to work on individual tasks under limited supervision, or with a team to achieve operational targets, and must have the ability to communicate and collaborate with parties within and outside of their own job function.
