# MAC Agent Engineer

Job Requirements Role and Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain macOS background agents for endpoint telemetry, device monitoring and cloud-connected services. Collect CPU, memory, storage, battery, network and application-health telemetry using supported interfaces, respecting permissions, privacy and consent. Implement sampling, aggregation and enrollment, on demand, real time and batch delivery, including persistent state, offline buffering and duplicate prevention. Maintain secure cloud connectivity and IPC between privileged services and user applications; support configuration, feature flags and agent lifecycle workflows. Debug performance, stability and resource-consumption issues; develop automated tests covering sleep/wake, reboot, network interruption, denied permissions and upgrades. Collaborate on requirements, design, code reviews and release readiness; document changes and validation. Lead engineers also guide technical decisions and mentor the team. Work Experience Must Have Skills Strong Swift and/or Objective-C experience, with the ability to maintain both languages in an existing macOS codebase.
