Could It Be You?\n The Analyst is responsible for performing the daily activities within Questrade’s Trade operations department. The position monitors, audits and measures in-house processes and third party services against SLA’s and regulatory obligations, then reports on the results. \n They act as the first and primary point of contact for third party administrative and supervisory employees. They foster positive and productive relationships internally and with third parties, and they work collaboratively with all parties to effectively resolve issues.\n\nNeed more details? Keep reading…\nIn this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to: \nComplete individual/team’s critical priorities for the day including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement of all trades \nEnsure all trades are acted upon as per deadline while maintaining high level of accuracy and exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholder\nProvide oversight and assistance for the failed trades and resolve settlement issues with traders, counterparties, and third party vendors\nEnsure timely completion and accuracy of various reports and reconciliations relating to trade activity and internal accounts.\nProcess end of day activities including DTCC balancing and trade clean ups.\nMust be able to maintain and build new relationship with both internal and external stakeholders\nWillingness to learn and meet new business demands while striving for efficiency \nConstantly monitor and review existing processes and seek to identify ways to improve performance and efficiency\nBe an integral part of brainstorming, designing and implementing process and procedures\nKeep current on Questrade products, services, programs, policies and procedures\nOther responsibilities as assigned \n\nSo are YOU our next Analyst, Settlement, Trade Ops? You are if you…\n2-4 years of relevant work experience in trade settlements/operations \nPost-secondary degree/diploma in related field or equivalent experience\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills must be experienced in building and maintaining solid working relationships internally and externally.\nMust possess strong organizational and time management skills\nProven analytical and reconciliation skills \nMust be able to work in team environment, and is flexible with constantly evolving environment \nKnowledge in Google Suite, Google Apps Script, Microsoft, Power BI, SQL and Python an asset; \nExperience using Broadridge system is preferred \nKnowledge of Arrow, CDS, DTC, and Apex is considered an asset. \n\nCompensation Information:\nBase salary range: $60,000 $65,000\nThe final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).
