Could It Be You?\nThe Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the effective design, provisioning, configuration and operation of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure in heterogeneous environments (Linux and Windows systems). \nThe individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, network and applications are aligned to corporate policies, procedures and best practices with a strong focus on documentation and high availability. \n\nThey vet/lead technical research and development to enable continuing innovation of the on-premise and cloud infrastructure. You are if you…\n5+ years experience in a large-scale (2000+ VMs) environment with exposure to Linux, Windows and VMWare ESXi 7+.\nHands-on (production) experience in any Cloud provider (Google required).\nExcellent knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, PKI Infrastructure and Group Policy management. \nSolid networking knowledge (OSI Layers, well-known protocols) \nStrong documentation and presentation skills.\nEager to learn and train and develop others \nStrong attention to detail, comprehensive problem solving and troubleshooting skills.\nCreating new procedures and policies do help further enterprise maturity.\nAbility to work independently or under minimum supervision\nDisaster Recovery/High Availability experience is required.\nExperience in regulated environments is an asset (SOC, ISO27001, NIT, PCI) including escalations, change and incident management.\nExperience presenting and influencing technology strategy with executives through developers\nGCP experience is required. \nAWS and Azure Experience is an asset.\nExpertise with managing GCP using IaaC technologies like Terraform.\n\nCompensation Information:\nBase salary range: $115,000-135,000\nThe final package will be commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).\nIncludes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program.\nSounds like you?
