The Controller will be\nresponsible for overseeing accounting, compliance, statutory audits, payroll, and financial\nreporting. The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in Indian entity accounting,\nstatutory compliance, and also bring exposure to managing cross-border financial\noperations. \nKey Responsibilities \nLead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting for India and global entities. \nEnsure compliance with Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, IFRS, and other global accounting standards\nas applicable. \nManage statutory audits for Indian entities and coordinate with external auditors globally. \nOversee financial reporting, including consolidated statements for multiple entities. \nImplement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies and\nprocedures. \nManage tax compliance for India entities (Direct, Indirect taxes, FEMA, Transfer Pricing,\netc.). \nOversee payroll processing for both India and US entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance,\nand timely disbursement. \nPartner with FP&A team on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. \nSupport system implementation and process automation to improve financial efficiency. \nMentor and develop finance teams across regions, ensuring accuracy and consistency. \nAct as the primary liaison with senior management, external auditors, and regulatory\nauthorities. \nQualifications & Skills \nChartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory. \n10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a Controller or\nsenior finance leadership role. \nStrong experience with India statutory audits, tax compliance, and regulatory filings. \nExposure to global entities accounting, consolidations, and cross-border financial\noperations. \nHands-on experience in payroll processing for India and US entities. \nProficiency in ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent). \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \nAdditional Notes\nThe Controller will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, payroll\naccuracy, and operational excellence for India and global entities.
