and experienced consultant who understands how to build, manage, scale, and optimize complex digital marketplaces.\nThe successful candidate will serve in an advisory and IT management capacity, working closely with executive leadership to assess our existing technology ecosystem, identify opportunities for improvement, establish scalable technology strategies, and provide technical leadership across our digital platforms.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTechnology Strategy & Business Leadership:\n\nDevelop and recommend technology strategies aligned with QuickliApp's business objectives.\nAdvise executive management on technology investments, innovation, and digital transformation.\nTranslate business requirements into actionable technology roadmaps.\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer acquisition, revenue generation, and scalability.\nEvaluate existing systems, technical processes, and engineering capabilities.\n\nSoftware Engineering & Systems Architecture:\n\nProvide strategic guidance on system scalability, performance, reliability, and security.\nGuide engineering teams on architecture modernization, system integration, and performance optimization.\nConduct comprehensive assessments of existing application architecture and infrastructure.\nEstablish software engineering standards, development processes, and technical governance.\nRecommend improvements to backend systems, frontend applications, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.\n\nE-commerce, Fintech & Marketplace Development:\n\nUnderstand marketplace commission structures, vendor management, order processing, and revenue models.\nProvide technical leadership in digital payment integrations, payment gateways, wallet systems, transaction processing, and settlement architecture.\nRecommend innovative solutions that improve customer, vendor, and delivery-partner experiences.\nDemonstrate advanced expertise in designing and scaling multi-vendor e-commerce marketplaces.\nAdvise on logistics technology, dispatch systems, real-time tracking, delivery optimization, and marketplace automation.\n\nIT Management & Engineering Leadership:\n\nSupport executive management in technology-related decision-making.\nStrengthen project delivery, quality assurance, cybersecurity, and IT governance.\nEstablish measurable engineering KPIs, accountability frameworks, and performance standards.\nEvaluate team structure, engineering productivity, and technical capabilities.\nProvide strategic oversight and mentorship to software engineers and technical personnel.\n\nProduct Innovation & Digital Transformation:\n\nCollaborate with product, operations, and business teams to improve platform functionality.\nRecommend enhancements to user experience, application performance, and operational workflows.\nDevelop a scalable technology roadmap supporting business expansion and long-term growth.\nIdentify opportunities for AI-powered automation, analytics, and intelligent marketplace operations.\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience in IT strategy, business technology consulting, and engineering management.\nExperience leading engineering teams and advising senior business executives.\nStrong background in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, and database management.\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nDemonstrated success designing, developing, or scaling e-commerce, fintech, logistics, or FoodTech platforms.\nExcellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.\nMinimum of 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, including senior engineering or technology leadership responsibilities.\nStrong understanding of marketplace economics, digital payments, logistics technology, and platform scalability.\n\nHighly Desirable Experience:\n\nWe are particularly interested in candidates who have:\n\nExperience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, microservices, and real-time systems.\nDemonstrated the ability to connect technology decisions with measurable business outcomes.\nProvided technology consulting services to startups or growing technology companies.\nManaged complex software engineering projects from strategy through execution.\nLed the architecture or transformation of a multi-vendor marketplace.\nWorked with or helped scale platforms similar to Uber Eats, DoorDash,
