In this role, you'll work in our manufacturing facility preparing machines for production runs, ensuring quality output, and maintaining efficient operations. If you're detail-oriented with strong technical skills and experience in plastic processing, join our team to help deliver precision-engineered components.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Technical Machine Operation \nUtilize numerically controlled injection molding equipment to perform operations on various plastic resin materials\nSet up and operate job-related equipment including molding machines, lift trucks, and overhead cranes\nEstablish and follow set-up sheets and loading process parameters for optimal production\nMonitor process and cycle times to maintain quality and maximize product output\n2. Quality Control & Troubleshooting\nDiagnose and correct problems in set-up and operations of molds, presses, and other equipment\nIdentify when parts are produced improperly or when machines malfunction and alert supervision\nOperate precision measuring instruments to maintain accurate dimensional tolerances per specifications\nMaintain thorough knowledge of industry machinery, techniques, and safety regulations\n3. Production Support & Documentation\nFollow job specifications and design criteria, including verbal instructions for each order\nMaintain accurate production and scrap records for all processed materials\nCount, package, and label shipment boxes according to work instructions\nUse scales for counting parts and weighing boxes for shipment\nMaintain an organized and clean work area adhering to safety policies\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMinimum 2 years of related experience in injection molding set-up and processing\nExperience with plastic processing, system operation, and different plastic materials\nProficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools\nAbility to operate overhead cranes and hi-lo equipment\nSkill in reading prints and technical specifications\nBasic math and computer skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nKnowledge of injection molding process validations and quality control\nDemonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge with hands-on technical skills\nCelebrate Your Strengths!\nWe believe that understanding your natural behavioral style helps ensure success for both you and Quickparts.
