We’re looking for a creative and technically capable Mobile UI/UX Designer based in Ethiopia who can help us take our mobile apps to the next level-making them modern, intuitive, and beautifully aligned with our brand.\nThis role requires someone who not only designs great mobile experiences but also understands the basics of front-end development to effectively collaborate with our dev team and work within our projects.\nThis job is part time to start, with options to convert to full time if things go well.\nWhat You’ll Do\n Review and improve existing mobile app projects built using React and AI-assisted tools \n Redesign app interfaces to make them modern, user-friendly, and unique to our brand \n Create clean, responsive, and functional mobile layouts for iOS and Android \n Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of your designs \n Work directly within project files (React or AI-generated) to adjust UI elements and styles \n Establish and maintain brand consistency across mobile apps and digital platforms \n (Bonus) Contribute to branding projects such as logo design, website design, and marketing materials \nWhat We’re Looking For\n Proven experience as a Mobile UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio of mobile app work \n Strong understanding of mobile design principles, user flows, and responsive behavior \n Familiarity with React Native or React-based frameworks \n Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools \n Basic front-end development skills - able to read and modify HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript \n Understanding of how design decisions affect development and implementation \n Eye for detail, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for clean, intuitive design \n Strong communication and time management skills \nNice to Have\n Experience with branding, logo design, or web design \n Familiarity with AI-driven design tools (Lovable, Bulk.new, Framer AI, etc.) \n Understanding of accessibility and UX best practices \n Experience building or maintaining a design system \nRequirements\n 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, specifically for mobile applications \n Strong understanding of mobile design principles, user journeys, and interaction design \n Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design software \n Basic front-end development skills -
