As Marketing Manager - Quilter Academy & Recruitment, you will lead marketing for Quilter Academy and provide oversight of adviser recruitment marketing. You will create and deliver plans that raise awareness, attract high-quality applicants and help more people progress from initial interest into the Academy and an adviser career. You will also identify opportunities with internal and external partners to extend our reach and support growth. This is a collaborative role, working closely with Academy, Recruitment, Advice, Digital, Brand, Data, Operations, Compliance, partners and agencies.

Key responsibilities:

Academy marketing strategy and planning

Lead the annual Quilter Academy marketing strategy and turn growth priorities into clear quarterly plans. Understand the needs of key recruits to the Academy, including career changers, graduates, financial-services professionals and partner audiences. Use this insight to shape the proposition, messages, customer journeys and channel plans.

Integrated campaign development and deployment

Plan, deliver and improve Academy campaigns across paid search, social media, email, the website, content, partnerships and events. Lead campaign briefs, audience targeting, creative development, media plans, landing pages and lead-nurture activity. Work with internal teams and agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns on time and with the right approvals.

Adviser recruitment marketing oversight

Provide strategic support and oversight for adviser recruitment marketing, making sure it supports the Academy strategy and wider advice growth plans. Work closely with the Senior Campaign Manager - Recruitment to agree target audiences, campaign priorities, candidate communications, handover points and measures of success. Use recruitment feedback and conversion data to improve lead quality and the candidate journey. The Recruitment team will retain ownership of candidate management, assessment and recruitment decisions, with day-to-day activity supported by the appropriate resource.

Mergers and acquisitions support

Support marketing activity relating to mergers and acquisitions opportunities, working with the M&A team to raise awareness of Quilter’s acquisition proposition, develop and maintain collateral, and support events.

Digital marketing and customer journey optimisation

Lead the Academy’s digital marketing plans, working with Digital, media, content and data teams. Oversee paid media, search, social media, website content, landing pages, analytics and tracking. Use performance data to improve lead quality, remove barriers and help more applicants progress through the journey.

Budget, agency and supplier management

Plan, forecast and manage the Academy marketing budget, with oversight of recruitment marketing spend. Keep forecasts and commitments accurate, manage purchase orders and supplier relationships, and make sure agencies deliver good-quality work and value for money. Recommend where to invest, test, increase or stop activity.

Partner opportunity development, stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership

Build strong relationships with Academy leaders, Recruitment, Advice businesses, senior marketing stakeholders and external partners. Identify and make the most of partnership opportunities that can raise awareness, reach priority audiences and support Academy growth. Agree clear plans and measures with partners. Be an active and dependable team player, working across Brand, Digital, Data, Content, Events, Operations, Compliance, Financial Promotions and agencies. Bring teams together, share information, resolve issues and keep delivery moving.

Performance, insight and commercial accountability

Agree key performance indicators for awareness, engagement, lead quality, applications, conversion, costs and budget use. Track and report against these KPIs, using the findings to improve campaigns, customer journeys and overall success. Provide concise performance updates for senior stakeholders, explain any gaps in the data and recommend practical actions. Balance immediate recruitment needs with the longer-term growth of the Academy brand.

Marketing governance and asset lifecycle

Make sure campaigns and Academy marketing materials meet brand, accessibility, data and regulatory requirements. Manage approvals and review dates through Quilter’s agreed process, and keep key materials accurate and up to date across all channels.
