You’ll help bring software engineers, mission operations experts, and other hard-to-find specialists to Quindar, connecting them with work that has a direct impact on the future of space.\nIf you’ve built a strong track record in agency recruiting and want to help grow a company whose mission you can get behind, we’d like to meet you.\nThe Role\nYou’ll own recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance, partnering closely with hiring managers and People Operations. You’ll build talent pipelines, assess candidates, keep the process moving, and help candidates understand why their next chapter should be at Quindar.\nThis role calls for someone who brings urgency, resourcefulness, and strong relationship skills. You should be comfortable reaching passive candidates, learning the details of unfamiliar technical roles, and turning a first conversation into a successful hire.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead recruiting for technical roles across software engineering, aerospace, infrastructure, and related disciplines.\n\nPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements, distinguish essential skills from preferences, and build effective search strategies.\n\nSource and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach, referrals, industry networks, and creative research.\n\nRun initial screens that assess relevant experience, communication, motivations, and alignment with a startup environment.\n\nTell Quindar’s story in a compelling, credible way, connecting each candidate’s interests to our technology and mission.\n\nManage candidates through the interview process with clear communication, timely follow-up, and well-defined next steps.\n\nPartner on offers, navigate compensation conversations, and help close candidates.\n\nKeep Ashby accurate and organized, using recruiting data to identify bottlenecks and improve results.\n\nShare market insights on talent availability, compensation expectations, and competing opportunities.\n\nHelp strengthen our recruiting processes as the company grows.\n\nWhat You Bring\nA track record of successfully recruiting technical talent, ideally in an agency environment with individual placement or revenue goals.\n\nExperience recruiting within aerospace, space technology, defense, or closely related technical industries.\n\nEnough technical fluency to understand different engineering disciplines, ask useful screening questions, and communicate confidently with candidates and hiring managers.\n\nStrong sourcing skills and experience building pipelines for specialized or difficult-to-fill roles.\n\nExperience managing multiple searches while maintaining consistent candidate communication and follow-through.\n\nConfidence handling objections, discussing compensation, and closing competitive candidates.\n\nA proactive approach: you take ownership, adapt quickly, and follow through without needing a detailed playbook.\n\nCuriosity about space and enthusiasm for helping build the team behind critical mission infrastructure.\n\nExperience recruiting cleared professionals or working in a growing technology startup is a plus.\nWhy Quindar\nYour hires will help shape how satellites are operated and how missions succeed.
