Must be flexible and able to manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks successfully.\nWages\nStarting wage will depend on experience and education.\n$76,000 - $106,000\nResponsibilities\nEssential duties and responsibilities of an Engineer include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nMaintain project schedules and budgets\nCreate project specific engineering submittals and drawings\nReview and understand Sales Department worksheets and project requirements \nCoordinate, or execute, the purchase of project specific equipment\nCoordinate with other Quinn departments as necessary for successful project completion\nCommunicate with Factory and outside vendor personnel on technical issues\nDelegation and hiring of Quinn Service Dept. or third party vendors for installation, modification, and fabrication requirements\nTimely completion of project closeout documentation\nProvide pre-sale technical support to the sales department\nUtilize company project management system on all projects\nSome fieldwork, as required, for specific project requirements\nDevelop and maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers\nRespect and follow company policies as defined in the employee handbook\nAdditional duties as assigned by management\nFollow all safety training and safety requirements including proper use of PPE\nA fit with Quinn Company’s performance driven culture and values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Integrity, Respect, and Relationships.\nQualifications\nSuccessfully completed high school or GED equivalent as a minimum.\nCollege degree, engineering background or previous engineering experience.\nTechnical knowledge of engines, generator sets, and electronics is a plus.\nMust have well-developed communications skills (verbal and written).\nMust have a valid California Drivers License in good standing.\nBasic computer skills.\n* AutoCAD experience is required.\nMust be well organized and self-motivated.\n* Able to work full time in a Quinn Power Systems office setting.
