About the Opportunity:

We're looking for a highly motivated Associate Account Manager with a strong desire to learn digital marketing, with a focus on paid media and Search Engine Marketing (SEM/GEM). In this role, you'll gain the experience to become a subject matter expert in campaign execution, data analysis, and client relationship management.

What You'll Do (and Learn!):

You'll build foundational skills in platform mechanics, reporting, and client communication, then grow into the responsibilities below as you progress:

• AI-Driven Campaign Execution & Optimization: Guiding Google's smart-bidding algorithms (Value-Based Bidding, tROAS) and automated campaign types (Performance Max, Demand Gen) providing high-quality data inputs, refining audience signals, engineering AI prompts for creative generation, and strategically managing exclusions rather than making manual bid adjustments
• Client Relationship Management: Leading strategic advertiser calls to translate complex algorithmic performance into actionable business insights, and acting as a trusted consultant who aligns AI-driven campaign outcomes with each client's broader business objectives
• Advanced Reporting & Data Analysis: Moving beyond basic reporting to synthesize automated insights into cohesive stories, using predictive analytics and first-party data integrations to forecast trends, define profitability targets, and uncover new growth opportunities
• Strategic Planning: Establishing the overarching business logic for AI to execute; setting profit-driven goals and connecting platform-specific actions to a holistic, multi-channel, full-funnel marketing strategy
• Industry Knowledge: Staying on the cutting edge of the search industry, including evolving AI capabilities, privacy-centric measurement, and automation
• Team Collaboration: Partnering with other departments (SEO, Social Media, Analytics) to ensure integrated strategies and unified data inputs across the marketing stack

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree; Marketing major preferred
• Prior internship experience preferred, ideally in digital marketing, paid media, advertising, or a related client-services field
• Some experience in a client-facing capacity (internship, part-time work, campus organization leadership, etc.), with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently with external stakeholders
• Intellectual curiosity and a natural default to wondering about the “why” as much as the “how”
• Analytical Mindset: You enjoy data analysis and have some background in it. Most client work involves data analysis and forecasting to identify growth opportunities
• AI Fluency: Comfortable with AI tools and have a basic understanding of how AI is shaping the future of search
• Exceptional Communication: Personable and well-spoken, with the ability to articulate complex data clearly to clients
• Proactive Problem-Solving: A self-starter who tries multiple approaches to resolve an issue before asking for help
• Capacity to Learn: A strong ability to absorb and retain new information, as the search industry evolves rapidly and you'll work across new business verticals

What to Expect:

• 1st Round: 30-45 minute interview with the Recruiter
• 2nd Round: 45-minute interview with the Hiring Manager
• 3rd Round: 2 hours of onsite interviews with the Hiring Team
