Not only in quantum computing, but also for quantum communication, QRNG, machine learning, and more.As a fast-growing company, we are now looking for an intern or a Master’sthesis studentat our office in Stuttgart, Germany. \nWhat will you be doing? \nAs anintern or studentyou will be part of the engineering team that works on assembling, testingand delivering our photonic processors to our customers. Your tasks will be focussed analysing, documenting and optimization of our production and quality assurance processes. \nYou will take care of: \nAnalysis, documentation, design and optimization of processes ensuring efficient production. \nApplication of best practices in lean management, operational excellence and quality management. \nYou will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in quantum computing, photonics, electronics, theory, and experimental physics. \nWhat we ask of you: \nA bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and enrollment in a master’s program \nKnowledge in production and operation processes and optimization \nProficiency in spoken and written English. \nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills. \nAn organized and methodical style of working with excellent documentation skills. \nThe following would be an advantage: \nKnowledge in lean management and operational excellence. \nKnowledge in quality assurance and management (ISO 9001, 5S). \nExperience with ERP systems. \nExperience with photonic devices and/or quantum photonic computation. \nExperience with software management. \nProficiency in spoken and/or written German. \nWhat to expect from us: \nWorking in a start-up means that your work contributes directly to the direction of the company.
