You'll lead our mobile app from architecture through to App Store and Play Store releases, and you'll mentor a Junior React Native Developer. You'll work closely with the Backend team on APIs and integrations, so clear communication across teams is essential.\n\nWhat you'll do\nOwn the architecture, code quality and technical direction of our React Native (Expo) apps.\nBuild and maintain high-quality, performant features for iOS and Android.\nManage the full release cycle: builds, signing, versioning, OTA updates, store submissions, and handling review feedback.\nWork with the Backend team to define API contracts, data needs and integration approaches.\nMentor the Junior React Native Developer through code reviews, pairing and guidance along with the TPM.\nWork with Design to turn designs into polished mobile experiences.\nTake part in the senior on-call rotation, including international paging.\n\nWhat we're looking for\n6+ years of mobile development, with 3+ years of hands-on React Native work.\nStrong TypeScript/JavaScript and solid knowledge of React.\nProven experience shipping and maintaining apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.\nExperience with Expo and EAS (Expo Application Services), native modules, push notifications, deep linking, and performance tuning.\nSolid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication and state management.\nExperience leading or mentoring other developers.\nExcellent communication skills. You should be able to discuss requirements and trade-offs clearly with backend, web and design teams.\nExperience working with AI tools for development, and a willingness to integrate AI into the SDLC\n\nNote: Full-stack experience is a strong plus but not mandatory.
