To support our ambition, we are expanding our quantum research and engineering team working on quantum error correction (QEC) for silicon-based spin-qubit platforms. The goal of this team is to develop, analyze, and implement QEC and fault-tolerant strategies tailored to realistic spin-qubit hardware. We are looking for candidates with diverse backgrounds and skill sets who can contribute to different aspects of this effort. Multiple research positions are available across experience levels, with complementary expertise.\nTechnical Challenges\nYou will take part in work across one or more of the following areas:\nQuantum error-correcting codes, including topological codes and low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes,\nDesign and optimization of QEC schemes for silicon spin qubits,\nLogical gates, protocols, and architectures for fault-tolerant quantum computing,\nResource-efficient scaling strategies and architectural trade-offs,\nDecoding algorithms and performance analysis of QEC codes,\nExperimental implementations of QEC and fault-tolerant protocols, in close collaboration with experimental teams.\nCollaboration\nCollaborate with talented people in a culture of transparency and autonomy.\nYou will interact with the technology director and the technical teams to build the technological strategy of the company\nPlay an active role in expanding and strengthening the team’s R&D efforts\nCollaborate with theory and experiment\nYou Are Special Because\nPhD in quantum information science, quantum physics, or a closely related field,\nStrong background in quantum error correction, fault tolerance, or quantum computing from a theoretical and/or experimental perspective,\nExcited about advancing practical fault-tolerant quantum systems and contributing to a collaborative, fast-moving team,\nCandidates with theoretical, numerical, experimental, or hybrid backgrounds are all encouraged to apply.\nWe are looking for candidates with diverse backgrounds and skill sets who can contribute to different aspects of this effort.
