You will work closely with our development, QA, and IT teams to automate and streamline operations, monitor system performance, and ensure the reliability of our deployments.\nThis is a great opportunity for a hands on engineer who wants to own cloud infrastructure end to end and help scale a growing platform.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure Management\nDesign, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nImplement and maintain scalable container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nCI/CD Pipeline\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment through GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Run.\n\nCollaborate with development teams to integrate new features into the CI/CD process.\n\nMonitoring and Logging\nSet up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.\n\nEnsure system reliability, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring and incident response.\n\nDatabase Management\nAdminister and optimize MongoDB instances, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.\n\nImplement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for MongoDB and other databases.\n\nSecurity and Compliance\nImplement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and data.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and applicable Georgian data protection regulations.\n\nAutomation and Scripting\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system operations using GCP services.\n\nDevelop custom scripts to enhance automation and operational efficiency.\n\nCollaboration and Support\nWork closely with development and QA teams to support the software development lifecycle.\n\nProvide technical guidance and support to resolve infrastructure related issues.\n\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).\n\nExperience\n5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.\n\nStrong experience with Docker, including container orchestration using Kubernetes.\n\nHands on experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, and GKE.\n\nExperience with Elasticsearch for monitoring, logging, and search.\n\nProficiency administering and optimizing MongoDB databases.\n\nSkills\nStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language.\n\nProficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.\n\nExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams, including with distributed and international colleagues.\n\nRight to work in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain the relevant work authorization).\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).\n\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.\n\nCertifications in Docker, GCP, or related technologies.\n\nEqual Opportunity\nQureos is an equal opportunity employer.
