If you are a humble learner, not afraid of the unknown, we encourage you to apply.\nRole Description\nAs Senior Security Engineer, you will be the hands-on owner of security across Qutwo's engineering and infrastructure. You will work closely with our infrastructure and engineering teams to design, build, and run the controls that keep our platforms secure, and you will lead the technical side of our certification and compliance work as the company scales.\nNetwork Security: Design, configure, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and IDS/IPS.\n\nHost Hardening: Harden Linux systems using SELinux, AppArmor, and secure baseline configurations.\n\nIdentity & Access: Implement and maintain AAA, IAM, and access controls across our infrastructure and cloud environments.\n\nSecurity Monitoring: Deploy and operate SIEM and logging tooling, build detections and alerts, and investigate security events.\n\nVulnerability Management: Run scanning, patching, and remediation across our infrastructure.\n\nIncident Response: Lead the technical investigation and remediation when security incidents occur, and help build the incident response framework.\n\nAutomation: Use infrastructure-as-code and scripting to keep configurations consistent, repeatable, and auditable.\n\nCertification & Compliance: Implement and evidence the technical controls behind certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and support gap analyses, audit readiness, and work with auditors.
