In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day platform operations, environment provisioning, and maintaining platform services that support our customers and engineering teams.You will work closely with senior platform engineers and application teams to ensure that our infrastructure and platform services remain stable, secure, and scalable. Our goal is to build a platform that enables teams to move faster while maintaining high reliability and operational excellence.\nWhat You Will Do\nPlatform Operations :\nProvision and maintain Kubernetes environments for development, staging, and production\n\nPerform day-2 operations for platform services (databases, message queues, caching systems)\n\nManage cluster upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance\n\nMonitor platform health and respond to alerts\n\nEnvironment Provisioning\nSet up new environments and namespaces for application teams\n\nConfigure networking, ingress, secrets, and storage\n\nMaintain environment consistency across clusters\n\nPlatform Service Operations\nOperate and maintain shared platform services such as:\nPostgreSQL / MySQL\n\nRedis\n\nKafka / RabbitMQ\n\nObject storage\n\nCI/CD infrastructure\n\nResponsibilities include:\nProvisioning new instances\n\nMonitoring and capacity management\n\nBackup verification\n\nIncident troubleshooting\n\nReliability & Incident Response\nInvestigate and resolve platform incidents\n\nParticipate in on-call rotation\n\nPerform root cause analysis and implement improvements\n\nAutomation & Improvements\nAutomate operational tasks where possible\n\nImprove monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks\n\nContribute to infrastructure-as-code repositories\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nExperience operating Kubernetes clusters in production\n\nStrong Linux and container fundamentals\n\nExperience with Kubernetes troubleshooting and debugging\n\nUnderstanding of:\nKubernetes deployments, services, and networking\n\nResource management and scaling\n\nPersistent storage in Kubernetes\n\nExperience operating at least some of the following:\nDatabases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)\n\nMessage queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)\n\nCaching systems (Redis)\n\nFamiliarity with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Helm, or similar)\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging systems\n\nStrong troubleshooting and incident response skills\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with CI/CD platforms\n\nFamiliarity with GitOps workflows\n\nCloud provider experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)\n\nExperience with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)\n\nExperience supporting multi-team Kubernetes environments\n\nWhat We Value\nCustomer-Focused Mindset\nThe platform serves developers and internal teams.
