This role is for engineers who don’t just maintain infrastructure - they build platform products and services that enable development teams to move fast, safely, and reliably.You will take end-to-end ownership of platform services such as databases, message queues, caching systems, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and developer tooling. We expect strong engineering fundamentals, deep Kubernetes expertise, and a product mindset toward internal platforms.This is not a ticket-driven operations role. This is a builder role.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign, implement, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters\n\nBuild and maintain platform services:\nPostgreSQL / MariaDB / Cassandra / etc.\n\nKafka / RabbitMQ\n\nRedis\n\nObservability / Monitoring stack\n\nSecrets management\n\nAnd many more\n\nDevelop internal self-service tooling for developers\n\nAutomate infrastructure and platform provisioning (IaC, GitOps)\n\nImprove reliability, scalability, and security of the platform\n\nOwn CI/CD systems and deployment workflows\n\nImplement observability standards (metrics, logs, tracing)\n\nLead incident response and postmortem improvements\n\nContinuously reduce cognitive load for application teams\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production\n\nDeep understanding of:\nNetworking (CNI, Ingress, Load Balancers, Service Mesh)\n\nStorage and Stateful Workloads (CSI, Snapshots, StatefulSets, storage classes)\n\nResource management (requests/limits, autoscaling)\n\nKubernetes Operators\n\nExperience operating or building platform services:\nDatabases (replication, backup, failover)\n\nMessage brokers (partitioning, durability, scaling)\n\nCaching systems\n\nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, etc.)\n\nCI/CD systems and GitOps workflows\n\nExperience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)\n\nStrong debugging and incident response skills\n\nProduction mindset and reliability-first thinking\n\nNice to Have\nTelco/BSS domain knowledge\n\nExperience building internal developer platforms\n\nMulti-tenant Kubernetes environments\n\nService mesh (Istio, Linkerd)\n\nSecurity hardening & policy enforcement\n\nCost optimization in cloud environments\n\nMulti-region or disaster recovery architectures\n\nWhat We Value\nEnd-to-End Ownership\nYou build it, you run it, you improve it.\nStrong Hands-On Engineering\nWe expect engineers who write code, automate everything, and dive deep into root causes.\nPlatform-as-a-Product Thinking\nThe platform is a product for developers.
