In this role, you will ensure seamlessly integrated, high-quality data across systems and business units. We are looking for a hands-on technical data consultant who can successfully work across projects, teams, and stakeholders.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the team through hands-on development by coding in SQL and occasionally Python, creating data visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or similar, and designing data models in platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks\n\nLead the design, deployment, and continuous optimization of end-to-end data pipelines and analytical environments using BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Looker\n\nLead projects & teams through all core project phases, including project setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment\n\nFacilitate workshops, provide status updates, and lead meetings across the executive levels of client organizations\n\nEnsure user satisfaction through consistent support and high-quality project execution\n\nUnderstand, develop and articulate complex business challenges into actionable plans with clear and concise communication\n\nProactively identify risks, issues and provide mitigation strategies\n\nContribute to internal growth initiatives including mentorship, recruitment, strategy and/or methodology enhancement\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n5+ years Project Management, Process, Implementation, System Integration, and SDLC experience working closely with data professionals in an Agile environment\n\n7+ years in a consulting or a data-focused role and expert-level experience with SQL in particular in platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, MS SQL Server or similar\n\nHands-on experience with business driven / self-service BI, using tools similar to Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc \n\nEagerness to help build & lead in a best-in-class data practice\n\nExperience designing and building relational database and/or data warehouses\n\nA Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in Media & Entertainment and/or Consumer Products industries\n\nExperience at a large consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, EY, CapGemini, PWC)\n\nCloud computing experience, whether with AWS or other vendors\n\nAbility to automate data-related tasks using scripts and programming languages\n\nAbility to profile, explore, and analyze data to identify common data patterns\n\nAbility to present data solutions to business stakeholders with clear business acumen\n\nFamiliarity with dbt ()\n\nTravel RequirementsEmployees may be required to travel occasionally when required by project scope or management directive.Life at QvestWe were founded on a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness, and this permeates each of our initiatives, both client-facing and internal.
