They are seeking a Senior Engineer to provide leadership within software teams, impact all phases of projects, and leverage existing knowledge while growing into new technologies.\n\nResponsibilities\nYou will provide leadership within software teams; as a mentor, team-lead, trusted client-facing technologist and/or as a hands-on contributor\nYou will impact all phases of our projects and all phases of the SDLC\nYou will leverage your existing depth of knowledge to maximize your impact\nYou will grow into new and/or adjacent technologies and domains to broaden your impact\n\nSkills\n5+ years in software development, including working in teams\nExperience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or XP\nDeep knowledge in the language and library/framework ecosystems of Java, JavaScript/Typescript, or Python\nExperience in defining and utilizing software development best practices\nProject Structures, coding practices, testing practices\nDefinition and utilization of CI/CD pipelines\nArchitectural patterns that balance scope and scale of project needs\nIdentification and mediation of technical debt within a code base over time\nDeep knowledge building high quality, scalable, and production ready software, such as:\nServices with well defined APIs utilizing REST, GraphQL, messaging, or similar\nData Pipelines to integrate systems, enable analytics, or similar\nWeb Applications utilizing modern technology approaches\nMobile Applications that are built with cross platform development in mind\nExperience constructing systems by composing smaller components. The breadth could include:\nDefinition of work units that can be implemented in an efficient, additive way\nSOA, Microservices, or similar architectural patterns\nSeparation of concerns via good OOP and/or FP design\nExperience managing data.
