For more information, visit QXO.com.\nThe Accounting Analyst for QXO will support accounting processes for a portion of the company’s balance sheet, along with other ad hoc activities as required. This position will report to the Balance Sheet Accounting Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate early in their career to work for a growing company.\nWhat you will do:\nComplete numerous balance sheet reconciliations for low-to-moderate risk accounts in a six day close cycle. \nPrepare, record and review journal entries and compile supporting documentation for key areas, which are included but not limited to, cash, inventory reserves, sales tax accruals, prepaids, accrued expenses, and fixed assets/CIP. \nPerform tasks as part of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting for six subsidiaries in four different ERPs/accounting software for the LBM Division’s South (Texas) Region. \nReconcile control account subledgers v. GL for three companies daily, identifying and troubleshooting errors with Lead Accountant & Senior Manager.\nCompile and interpret financial data and information and perform necessary research to provide accurate and succinct stakeholder information. \nWork cross-functionally with other departments, other internal regional teams and Operating Company contacts to increase financial reporting accuracy. \nPerform financial analysis and P&L flux reviews on key accounts.
