For more information, visit QXO.com.\nWhat you will do:\nThe Dispatcher at QXO is responsible for coordinating daily delivery operations, scheduling drivers and equipment, and ensuring customer orders are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. This role manages delivery schedules, prepares next-day transportation plans, coordinates fleet and equipment availability, and works closely with Warehouse, Operations, Drivers, and Customer Service teams to support efficient logistics operations.\nSchedule all deliveries daily for assigned area\nPlan, organize, coordinate and schedule Drivers and Helpers for optimum efficiency\nAdhere to and educate operations staff on all QXO safety policies\nProvides superior service to all internal and external customers\nManage Material Transfers between branches in the region\nManage truck load within DOT regulations and GPS Data\nDemonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE\nMaintain adherence to OSHA regulations and union contracts (where applicable)\nEnsure safe and reliable vehicles and forklifts are available to meet operational requirements\nMaintain a Continuous Improvement Log by working with the Regional Operations Manager to address compliance, identify and resolve issues efficiently\nWhat you will bring:\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nCompetence in operating all types of trucks and lifts\nEffective time management and customer relations skills\nKnowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements\nFamiliarity with the local area to facilitate well-routed deliveries\nExperience in logistics and distribution\nPrior experience in a dispatching role is a plus\nPreferred experience in the building products industry\nBilingual proficiency is preferred\nWhat you will earn:\n401(k) with employer match \nMedical, dental, and vision insurance \nPTO, company holidays, and parental leave \nPaid training and certifications \nLegal assistance and identity protection \nPet insurance \nEmployee assistance program (EAP) \nBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.\nQXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
