This role supports both operational and customer needs through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repair services. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and experienced working with construction, industrial, rental, or heavy equipment.\nLocation: 600 Schneider Blvd Ste 100 Hutto, TX 78634\nShift: M-F 7am to 4pm - 60 minute lunch\nOccasional Saturdays\nWeekly Pay\nMust have a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction equipment or equipment rental repair\nMust have a complete set of personal hand tools\nEquipment Maintenance & Repair\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational issues on a variety of equipment \nInspect, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability \nRemove, repair, reinstall, and adjust components such as engines, fuel systems, and related mechanical assemblies \nPerform preventative maintenance services including lubrication, inspections, fluid changes, and component replacement \nConduct safety inspections and operational checks in accordance with company standards \nField Service & Customer Support\nRespond to service calls and emergency repair requests as needed \nAssist customers and internal teams with equipment-related concerns and service recommendations \nSupport equipment troubleshooting and operational guidance \nMaintain professional communication regarding repair status, timelines, and service requirements \nDocumentation & Reporting\nPrepare repair estimates and service recommendations \nComplete work orders, maintenance records, and repair documentation accurately and on time \nMaintain communication with management regarding repair progress, equipment condition, and operational concerns \nTrack maintenance activities and support equipment history documentation \nSafety & Compliance\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements \nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment \nEnsure repairs and maintenance activities comply with company standards and applicable regulations \nReport unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, and operational risks promptly \nTeam Collaboration\nWork closely with service personnel, operations teams, and customers to support business needs \nAssist with training and mentoring team members as needed \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency \nPerform additional duties as assigned\nWhat you will bring:\nStrong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills \nAbility to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair documentation \nExperience using diagnostic tools and equipment \nStrong problem-solving and organizational abilities \nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities \nStrong communication and customer service skills\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in construction equipment or equipment rental repair. \nExperience with construction, industrial, agricultural, rental, or heavy equipment \nFamiliarity with hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and engine systems \nExperience with computerized diagnostics and work order systems \nValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record\nWork is performed in shop, yard, warehouse, and field service environments\nExposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding conditions\nAbility to lift and move materials and components (up to 75 lbs as required)\nMay require travel for field service calls and emergency repairs\nMay require extended hours based on operational needs\nWhat you will earn:\nHealth Care Benefits\nPaid Time Off\nBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.\nQXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
