This role ensures products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nMachine Operation & Production\nSet up, operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery and manufacturing equipment \nRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, production drawings, and technical specifications \nConfigure machine settings to ensure accurate cutting, drilling, routing, machining, or fabrication processes \nMonitor machine performance and production output throughout each shift \nMaintain production efficiency while meeting daily production schedules and quality expectations \nCollaborate with production team members to achieve department goals and deadlines \nQuality Control\nVerify measurements and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards \nPerform in-process and final quality inspections throughout production \nIdentify product defects, dimensional inaccuracies, or quality concerns and report them promptly \nMaintain accurate production records and quality documentation \nEquipment Maintenance\nPerform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventative maintenance on assigned machinery \nTroubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate equipment repair needs to maintenance personnel \nMaintain machine work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition \nAssist with equipment changeovers and setup activities as required \nMaterial Handling & Production Support\nPrepare raw materials and finished products for processing or transfer between production areas \nAssist with staging materials and maintaining efficient production workflow \nOperate material handling equipment as authorized \nSupport inventory accuracy and proper material identification throughout the manufacturing process \nSafety & Continuous Improvement\nFollow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements \nPromote a safety-first culture by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions or equipment concerns \nMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area \nParticipate in required safety meetings, production training, and continuous improvement initiatives \nSupport operational improvements that increase quality, productivity, and efficiency \nPerform additional duties as assigned. \nWhat you will bring:\nStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail \nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately \nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills \nBasic computer skills and ability to operate machine interfaces \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment \nStrong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity \nExcellent organizational and time-management skills \nHigh school diploma or GED required \nPrevious experience operating manufacturing, machining, woodworking, fabrication, or production equipment preferred \nExperience with CNC equipment, door machining equipment, saws, routers, drills, or similar production machinery is a plus \nAbility to accurately read tape measures and technical drawings \nExperience in millwork, woodworking, door manufacturing, trim carpentry, or related manufacturing environments preferred \nMechanical troubleshooting or repair experience is a plus \nForklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred \nWork is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment \nFrequent exposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, dust, vibration, and seasonal temperature changes \nAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the workday \nAbility to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks \nAbility to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly \nFrequent use of hand tools, measuring devices, production equipment, and machine controls \nAbility to work overtime or extended hours based on production schedules and business needs\nWhat you will earn:\nHealth Care Benefits\n401(k) with employer match\nPaid Time Off\nBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.\nQXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
