What you will do:
- Collaborate with experienced journeymen and foremen to fabricate and assemble sheet metal products, such as ducts, vents, and roofing components
- Work with a variety of materials, tools, and machinery to measure, cut, and bend sheet metal according to specifications
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accuracy in project specifications and material needs
- Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including brakes, shears, and welding machines
- Perform general labor tasks like material handling, site cleanup, and equipment upkeep
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
