With strong domain expertise in CPT and ICD (diagnosis) coding, the incumbent should be able to validate the coding after reviewing all relevant medical records ensuring codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with government and insurance regulations.\nWorking in an evolving healthcare setting, delivering innovative solutions using our shared expertise. With our proven and scalable operating model, complementing a healthcare organization’s infrastructure to quickly drive sustainable improvements to net patient revenue and cash flows while reducing operating costs and enhancing the patient experience.\nResponsibilities:\nAssign codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes.\nFollow up with the provider on any documentation that is insufficient or unclear.\nCommunicate with other clinical staff regarding documentation.\nSearch for information in cases where the coding is complex or unusual.\nReceive and review patient charts and documents for accuracy.\nReview the previous day's batch of patient notes for evaluation and coding.\nEnsure that all codes are current and active.\nRequirements:\nEducation - Any Graduate.\n1 to 7 Years’ experience in Medical Coding.\nSuccessful completion of a certification program from AHIMA or AAPC.\nStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.\nSkilled in assigning ICD-10 & CPT codes.\nSolid oral and written communication skills.\nAble to work independently.\nFlexible to work from office and home as required by the business.\nWorking in an evolving healthcare setting, we use our shared expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
