Our mission is to transform the healthcare industry by driving efficiency and improving outcomes for healthcare providers.\nLocation\nGurugram / Noida / Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai\nRole Overview\nOperating in a captive set-up, the Manager - HR (Workday) will act as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Time Tracking and Absence, partnering with global HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders.\nThis role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Workday solutions, ensuring compliance, seamless integration, and high-quality delivery across global operations. The individual will also serve as a functional lead for the Time & Absence workstream, driving governance, best practices, and continuous improvements.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Time Tracking & Absence Management\nConfigure and maintain leave types, time off plans, accrual rules, and entitlement policies in Workday\n\nDesign and implement time tracking frameworks, including: Time Entry Codes Time Entry Templates Time Calculations and validations\n\nEnsure accurate time capture, approvals, and reporting across geographies\n\nDrive enhancements to improve employee and manager experience\n\n2. Workday Configuration & System Management\nAnalyze, design, and maintain Workday configurations across modules\n\nServe as a functional lead for Time Tracking & Absence modules\n\nMaintain the Workday platform with focus on: Business process configuration Security administration (domain & BP policies) Reporting (simple, advanced, composite, scheduled) Data loads, audits, and system integrity\n\nHands-on experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) for mass data loads\n\n3. Payroll & Benefits (Good to Have)\nSupport configuration of: Earnings, deductions, and pay components Benefit plans and eligibility rules\n\nEnsure seamless integration between time tracking, absence, and payroll systems\n\nPartner with Payroll teams to ensure accurate pay outcomes and compliance\n\n4. Compliance & Governance\nEnsure adherence to global payroll regulations, statutory leave policies, and labor laws\n\nAlign configurations with audit, compliance, and internal governance standards\n\nDrive structured change management, regression testing, and release governance\n\n5. Implementation & Delivery\nLead/support end-to-end Workday implementations and enhancements, including: Requirement gathering and solution design Prototyping and stakeholder validation Testing (SIT/UAT) and defect resolution Production deployment and hypercare support\n\nPartner with global teams to deliver scalable and standardized HRIT solutions\n\n6. HRIT Functional Expertise\nManage and enhance: Business Process Frameworks Security configuration Reporting and analytics Data conversion and migration\n\nProvide functional advisory and recommend best-in-class Workday practices\n\n7. Stakeholder Collaboration\nAct as a trusted advisor to HR, Payroll, and leadership teams\n\nCommunicate effectively across all levels of the organization\n\nCollaborate with global teams across time zones (including US support, as needed)\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field\n\n6-8 years of overall experience, with minimum 5+ years in Workday\n\nStrong experience in Workday Time Tracking and Absence, Payroll modules\n\nHands-on experience in Workday configuration, security, reporting, and EIB (mass loads)\n\nExperience in Workday implementations (end-to-end lifecycle)\n\nStrong understanding of HR processes and HCM modules (Core, Time, Absence)\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in Payroll and Benefits configuration (Workday or equivalent)\n\nExposure to multi-country HR operations and compliance frameworks\n\nWorkday certifications (Time Tracking / Absence / HCM)\n\nExperience in Workday interface support\n\nSkills & Competencies\nWorkday HCM & Cloud Applications expertise\n\nSystem configuration and systems analysis\n\nReporting and data analytics\n\nRoot cause analysis and problem-solving\n\nKnowledge of SaaS-based HR systems architecture\n\nStrong governance and delivery-oriented mindset\n\nSuccess Metrics\nAccuracy and compliance of time & absence configurations\n\nReduction in payroll discrepancies linked to time data\n\nStakeholder satisfaction and solution adoption\n\nTimely delivery of implementations and enhancements\n\nWorking in an evolving healthcare setting, we use our shared expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
