As a small company, you'll work directly with leadership and your contributions will be seen.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nR2DTS has been awarded a new 7-year subcontract supporting a critical national security mission. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who wants to grow their career on a long-term program. This role is a good fit for someone early to mid career who is eager to learn, takes ownership, and wants to build hands-on expertise in automation, CI/CD, and enterprise container platforms. We will invest in your training and certifications.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\n • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that deliver applications to multiple Red Hat OpenShift clusters in a hybrid cloud environment and an NVIDIA GPU HPC cluster\n\n • Implement GitOps workflows to manage application and platform configuration\n\n • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools\n\n • Help development teams containerize applications and deploy workloads\n\n • Integrate security scanning, image signing, and compliance checks into delivery pipelines (DevOps)\n\n • Manage source control, artifact repositories, and container registries\n\n • Monitor pipeline and application health, troubleshoot build and deployment failures, and help resolve incidents\n\n • Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems, primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)\n\n • Document pipelines, procedures, and lessons learned\n\n • Learn from senior engineers and contribute to process and tooling improvements\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance\n\n • 1+ years of experience in DevOps, software build and release, systems administration, or a related field\n\n • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Tekton, or similar\n\n • Working knowledge of Git and branching workflows\n\n • Familiarity with containers (Podman or Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar)\n\n • Basic automation and scripting skills (Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or Python)\n\n • Hands-on experience with Linux (Red Hat preferred)\n\n • A strong willingness to learn and a collaborative attitude\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and OpenShift Pipelines or GitOps\n\n • Experience with Argo CD or other GitOps tools\n\n • Experience with Helm charts or Kustomize\n\n • Experience with artifact repositories and registries (Nexus, Artifactory, Quay, or Harbor)\n\n • Familiarity with security scanning tools (SonarQube, Trivy, Anchore, or similar)\n\n • Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or OpenShift Administrator), or willingness to earn them\n\n • DoD 8140 / 8570 compliant certification (for example, Security+)\n\n • Experience working in air-gapped or classified environments\n\nWhy R2DTS?\n\n • Long-term
