Senior DevOps Engineer

Description: Own and manage the engineering platform from development to production.
Design and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP.
Ensure consistency across dev, staging, and production environments.
CI/CD & Release Engineering.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with strong quality gates.
Implement safe deployment strategies (e.g., rollback, progressive delivery).
Reduce lead time from code commit to production.
Distributed Systems & Reliability.
Improve observability, reliability, and performance across services.
Support microservices architecture and workflow orchestration.
Reduce system complexity and operational overhead.
Developer Experience.
Define and standardize development "golden paths".
Enable self-service tools for deployment, environments, and debugging.
Improve productivity across engineering teams.
Observability & Incident Management.
Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing across systems.
Improve incident detection, response, and troubleshooting.
Security & Platform Governance.
Manage IAM, access control, and secrets.
Establish guardrails to ensure secure and scalable system operations.
Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
Kubernetes.
CI/CD systems.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms.
Programming/scripting skills (Go, Python, Bash, etc.).
Experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing).
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed systems.
Ability to think in systems, trade-offs, and failure scenarios.
