Join our team as a Daycare Teacher in our infant/toddler classroom!\nIn this co-taught classroom you will design and implement play-based instruction for children, fostering growth, learning, and positive self-esteem for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years.\nPosition Details:\nFull-time: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, following our daycare calendar.\nCompetitive rate of pay: $18.75 per hour.\nRacker offers benefits including tuition assistance, health insurance, and a 20% discount on childcare services for children and grandchildren of full-time staff. \nResponsibilities\nCo-teach and co-plan under the lead of the Special Education Teacher and in collaboration with other Daycare Teachers using assigned curriculum. \nProvide high quality care and instruction to all students through fun age and developmentally appropriate activities.\nCreate a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. \nActively participate in team meetings, sharing educational insights and problem-solving collaboratively. \nMaintain open communication with families, keeping them informed and supported. \nCollaborate with the team to utilize diverse techniques and perspectives in program design. \nKeep accurate records of children’s progress and attendance, and prepare reports for parent conferences. \nAttend required training sessions, ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations and program requirements. \nAnd other duties as assigned.\nBring your creativity, energy, and passion!\nQualifications\nEducation (one of the following):\nAssociate degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field OR\nChild Development Associate Credential (CDA) and 1 year related experience, OR\n9 College credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for children.\nPhysical Capability\nAbility to physically assist children to participate in the program; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds; ability to engage in repetitive movements such as sitting/kneeling on floor, bending and stooping; ability to move quickly to attend to a running child.\nWhy Join Us?
