You’ll work across the infrastructure behind secure virtual desktop delivery-including cloud-hosted desktops, identity, endpoint management, automation, security controls, and platform reliability.\nFor someone who already has VDI depth, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your technical range across:\nMulti-cloud VDI\nSecure enterprise infrastructure\nEndpoint management\nAutomation and scripting\nCybersecurity compliance\nClassified systems operations\nRackner also supports professional certifications aligned with current and future technical work across cloud, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and related engineering disciplines.\nYou do not need every technology listed below. We’re looking for strong hands-on depth in the platforms you have actually operated.\nYour Impact\nAdminister and troubleshoot enterprise VDI environments using AWS WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and/or Omnissa Horizon\nBuild and optimize desktop images, applications, user profiles, host pools, and scaling configurations\nConfigure and operate 10ZiG or comparable thin-client and endpoint-management environments\nDiagnose and resolve performance, authentication, profile, connectivity, compatibility, and user-access issues\nAutomate recurring administration using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting tools\nHarden and secure virtual desktops, Active Directory, endpoints, and cloud resources using DISA STIGs and applicable security controls\nDeploy and maintain endpoint configurations, firmware, certificates, security patches, and device settings\nPartner with security and infrastructure teams on continuous monitoring, authorization activities, configuration validation, and technical evidence collection\nTest and improve VDI performance, reliability, compatibility, and usability\nDocument system configurations, operating procedures, troubleshooting be relevant if they bring strong thin-client, endpoint-management, or enterprise VDI administration depth.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired\nActive TS/SCI clearance\nAbility to work fully onsite in Dayton, Ohio\nHands-on production administration of at least one primary VDI platform:AWS WorkSpaces\nAzure Virtual Desktop\nOmnissa / VMware Horizon\n\nDemonstrated ability to configure, troubleshoot, maintain, or improve enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure\nWorking knowledge of Windows infrastructure, identity and access, endpoint management, or related enterprise systems\nAbility to use scripting or automation to improve administration and reduce repetitive work\nFamiliarity with security hardening and compliance requirements in regulated, government, or classified environments\nAbility to produce clear technical documentation, operating procedures, and configuration guidance\nCompTIA Security+ or another certification accepted for the program’s required DoD 8140 baseline\nStrong Additional Alignment\nYou may stand out if you have worked with:\n10ZiG Manager or comparable thin-client management platforms\nActive Directory and Group Policy\nVirtual desktop
