Database Administration (DBA) Skills\nPrimary Database: PostgreSQL\n\nSecondary Database: MySQL, SQLServer\n\nDatabase Backup & Recovery: Tools and strategies for database backups and disaster recovery.\n\nPerformance Tuning: Query optimization, indexing strategies, and database performance troubleshooting.\n\nDatabase Security: User management, roles, access control, and auditing.\n\n2. Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge (DBaaS)\nCloud Platforms: AWS (RDS, Aurora), Azure (Cosmos DB, SQL Database), GCP (Cloud SQL, Firestore).\n\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes.\n\nKubernetes & Containers: Running databases in containers (like Kubernetes).\n\nObservability Tools: ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)\n\nDatabase Migration: Migrating databases across different platforms or cloud environments.\n\nDatabase Scaling: Vertical and horizontal scaling techniques in cloud environments.\n\n3. SRE Principles (Site Reliability Engineering)\nIncident Management: Handling database outages, incident response, and on-call rotations.\n\nMonitoring and Alerting: Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch.\n\nService Level Objectives (SLOs) / Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Ensuring uptime and performance targets.\n\nDisaster Recovery Planning: Ensuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.\n\n4 .
