Working closely with Payroll, People & Culture, People Managers and other internal stakeholders you’ll investigate payroll outcomes, determine remediation approaches and help ensure employees are paid correctly.\nYou’ll also play an important role in strengthening payroll controls and systems, including testing and validating UKG Pro configurations to ensure Award and EBA rules are operating as intended.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nConduct detailed payroll compliance reviews against Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.\nAnalyse payroll, time and attendance and rostering data to identify underpayments, overpayments and potential compliance risks.\nInterpret Awards and EBAs to validate wages, penalties, overtime, loadings, allowances and other pay conditions.\nUndertake structured UKG Pro testing and validation, including test scripts, scenario testing, defect logging and regression testing.\nTest complex pay scenarios including overtime triggers, penalties, allowances, minimum engagements, broken shifts, public holidays and casual loading interactions.\nQuantify individual and group remediation outcomes and develop clear calculation methodologies and instructions for Payroll.\nValidate back-pay calculations and remediation outcomes prior to payment.\nInvestigate systemic and root-cause issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nDocument findings, assumptions and methodologies to support governance, audit and regulator readiness.\nProvide clear, practical advice to stakeholders on payroll compliance and remediation matters.\nContribute to broader payroll governance, assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’ll be an experienced payroll or compliance professional with strong knowledge of Australian workplace legislation and complex payroll requirements.\nYou’ll also bring\nDemonstrated experience in payroll compliance, payroll remediation, payroll governance or industrial relations analysis.\nStrong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.\nHands-on experience interpreting and applying Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements in a payroll environment.\nExperience analysing payroll and time and attendance data and preparing remediation calculations.\nExperience undertaking payroll system testing and validating complex pay rules.\nStrong UKG Pro capability, ideally including configuration validation, UAT, scenario testing, defect management and regression testing.\nAdvanced Excel and data analysis skills, with experience in reconciliation and validation of payroll outcomes.\nHigh attention to detail and the ability to work confidently with complex calculation logic.\nStrong written communication and documentation skills, including the ability to translate technical findings into practical business advice.\nSound judgement, discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive employee pay matters.\nStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across Payroll, People & Culture, Finance, Legal and HRIS teams.\nWhat We Offer\nHybrid and flexible working arrangements.\nCompetitive salary and benefits.\nDiscounts on selected RACV products and services.\nA supportive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.\nWhy join RACV\nAt RACV, our values of Innovation, Accountability, Care and Team guide how we work and how we show up for each other.
