This role will support the newly established Squad to deliver strategic initiatives that enhance RACV’s insurance products, member experiences, operational processes and business outcomes.\nAs an experienced Senior BA, you will lead and drive business analysis activities within an Agile/Scrum squad environment, working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business SMEs, Technology teams and Delivery partners. You will collaborate with stakeholders from Discovery through to Planning and Delivery, working across projects and squads to support broader Insurance domain priorities.\nThis could be just the right role for you\nWhile the BA Practice Team Leader provides direction and leadership, the Senior BA is expected to be a self-starter and maintain a proactive approach when engaging with the business. You’ll bring:\n5+ years’ experience as a Senior Business Analysis Practitioner or similar role, with proven ability to support organisation-wide or end-to-end technology and business initiatives from planning and evaluation through to execution.\n\nA tertiary degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related fields is essential.\n\nHands-on insurance domain experience across products, customer journeys, claims, policy administration, renewals, pricing, regulatory considerations and operational processes, with experience delivering strategic initiatives within Insurance, Financial Services or similarly regulated environments, is highly desirable.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery squads, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story development, acceptance criteria definition and close collaboration with Product Owners and delivery teams.\n\nExperience working in a member-based, customer-facing organisation, with exposure to digital and operational service channels, is preferred.\n\nExperience leading the scoping, planning and analysis and documentation of business processes, requirements and benefits identification.\n\nDemonstrated experience in producing epics and user stories, documenting business metrics, business rules, acceptance criteria, and success measures to guide solution delivery and track outcomes.\n\nExperience in facilitating workshops to elicit business and technical requirements, translating discussion outcomes into structured, actionable deliverables.\n\nAbility to support data analysis, solution design and user experience design by assessing business rules, customer communications, system dependencies and delivery impacts across services.\n\nExperience with conducting detailed stakeholders and change impact analysis across processes, people, technology, and ways of working.\n\nPrior experience in developing user-facing artefacts, including work instructions, guides, and training materials, to support successful implementation.\n\nStrong knowledge of tools such as Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Office 365, process modelling tools such as Visio or draw.io highly regarded.\n\nWhy work for RACV?\nBe part of a high-performing BA Practice supporting enterprise transformation\n\nOpportunity to contribute to a newly established Squad delivering strategic initiatives across the Insurance domain\n\nHybrid working arrangements with a collaborative culture\n\nThe RACVdifference\nAt RACV, we believe that maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace is an important element in our continued success.
