You will own IT operations that support our rapidly growing team-from device management and network security to vendor relationships and compliance. This is a critical role at a company building physical-world data infrastructure, where reliable, secure IT systems directly enable our mission.\nResponsibilities:\nManage and scale IT operations, including endpoint management, network infrastructure, identity and access management, and help desk support\nOwn security and compliance programs including SOC 2, device management policies, and incident response planning\nLead IT vendor selection, procurement, and contract management across hardware, software, and services\nPartner with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to align IT systems and tooling with business needs\nDevelop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards across the organization\nBuild, mentor, and grow a small IT team as the company scales\nOversee IT budgeting, asset tracking, and lifecycle management\nABOUT YOU\nRequired:\nYou have 5+ years of IT management or IT operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role\nYou have deep experience with macOS and Windows endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, or similar MDM platforms\nYou have strong knowledge of cloud identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, or Azure AD\nYou have hands-on experience owning security and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar\nYou have experience managing IT vendors, procurement processes, and contract negotiations\nYou are a clear and confident communicator who can translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders\nYou are highly organized, self-directed, and thrive in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment\nPreferred:\nYou have experience in a hardware + SaaS or IoT company environment\nYou have experience managing network infrastructure including VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise Wi-Fi\nYou have familiarity with IT scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell\nYou have experience implementing or managing a Zero Trust security model\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nIn your first 30 days, you will:\nLearn RADAR’s mission, technology stack, and core values\nComplete onboarding and security compliance training\nConduct a comprehensive audit of existing IT infrastructure, tooling, vendor contracts, and security posture\nIn your first 60 days, you will:\nIdentify and prioritize gaps in IT security, compliance, and operational efficiency\nDevelop a 6-12 month roadmap for scaling IT systems to support company growth\nBuild strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Engineering, Finance, and Operations\nTake full ownership of critical IT vendor relationships and ongoing procurement cycles\nIn your first 90 days, you will:\nBegin executing on your IT roadmap with clear, measurable milestones\nStreamline IT procurement and vendor management processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs\nEstablish clear IT policies, runbooks, and escalation procedures across the organization\nIdentify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive IT tasks and improve team productivity\nAt RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $205,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan, flexible time off, and paid parental leave.
