The position also provides limited support to recycling operations as directed to maintain continuity of waste and recycling services. Work is performed primarily on foot inside university buildings and outdoors using small utility vehicles or golf carts. The technician supports Radford University’s commitment to cleanliness, safety, and sustainability through responsible solid waste management practices.\nPosition designated as essential personnel.\nRequired Qualifications\nAbility to follow daily work schedules and complete assigned routes reliably.\nAbility to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.\nValid driver’s license.\nAbility to interact professionally with the campus community and coworkers in a diverse environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in waste or custodial services.\nFamiliarity with solid waste and recycling procedures.\nSkill in operating small utility vehicles and related equipment safely.\nEmployment Conditions: Valid Driver's License Required.
