Ordnance Handling, Integration, & Safety\nPerform receipt, inspection, assembly, and integration of energetic devices, solid rocket motors, pyrotechnic ignition systems, and safety devices.\nAdhere strictly to military safety standards (such as DDESB, NAVSEA OP 5, AFMAN 91-201, or AMCR 385-100, DA PAM 385-64) during all explosive operations, explosive storage/bunkering, and range prep.\nServe as an essential safety monitor during ordnance mating, grounding verification, and continuity testing.\n2. Hazardous Material Transport & Field Logistics\nOperate heavy duty transport vehicles, tractor-trailers, and specialized mobile launchers transporting Class 1 (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4) explosives and hazardous materials.\nConduct pre-trip/post-trip safety inspections, maintain legal driver logs, and ensure proper vehicle placarding, tie-down/rigging, and cargo securement in full compliance with DOT and military regulations.\nSupport remote field site logistics, mobile test trailer setup, and range loading/unloading operations, and on-range pre-flight checkouts.\n3. Missile Assembly & HWIL / Flight Test Support\nPerform mechanical assembly and electrical integration of missile airframes, fins, Control Actuation Systems (CAS), avionics stacks, and guidance sections using hand tools and precision/specialized equipment.\nFabricate, route, install, and test MIL-spec cabling, breakout boxes, and umbilical connectors.\nSupport test engineers in lab bench setup, environmental qualification testing (vibration/shock), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) staging.\n4. Maintenance, Ground Support, & Range Execution\nMaintain, inspect, and troubleshoot Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and mechanical handling equipment.\nDeploy to military test ranges (e.g., White Sands Missile Range, Dugway Proving Ground, China Lake, Eglin AFB) to support motor installation, pre-flight checkouts, launcher mating, umbilical hookup, and post-flight recovery.\nRequired Qualifications & Certifications\nCommercial Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)\nExplosives Certification: Proven experience and current/prior certification in Explosives & Ordnance Handling per DoW guidelines (or ability to immediately qualify under company Explosive Safety Program).\n Experience: 20+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, military munitions (e.g., USAF Ammo/Weapons, Army 89B/89D, Navy AO/STG, USMC 2311), or heavy hazardous transportation/integration.\nMechanical & Electrical Skills:Proficiency reading mechanical engineering drawings, electrical schematics, torque specifications, and wire run lists.\nHands-on experience with precision torque tools, crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and grounding meters.\n\n Physical & Environmental Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in extreme outdoor field environments (desert, rain, heat/cold), wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and work comfortably around cranes and high-voltage/energetic systems.\nSecurity Clearance: Must hold an active US DoD Secret security clearance.\nRadiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
