We are looking for a junior developer to work with a diverse team of software engineers and analysts to explore and develop solutions in support of AFRL, NASIC, and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community projects. The candidate will be expected to evolve an existing Modeling & Simulation frameworks (AFSIM) and its codebase based upon customer needs. The candidate will also be expected to incorporate scenarios and models into AFSIM, while performing testing and verification. Modern Agile software development practices is expected to be used. We are focused on finding innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort.\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field\nStrong communication and organizational skills\nUS citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance\nRequired Experience:\nMinimum of 3 years of M&S development experience\nMinimum of 3 years software development experience\nMinimum of 2 years C++ and Python3\nExperience following agile development processes\nExperience using tools such as git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners or similar\nExperience developing software for Linux platforms\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with a full technical stack, including backend framework development, network programming, CICD, scientific computing, regression test development, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.\nExperience working with modeling and simulation tools, such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE\nExperience with virtual machine and container management platforms such as WSL2 and Docker\nExperience with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, or similar\nFamiliarity with DoD security practices\nRadiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
