Typical projects involve building and integrating physics-based hardware and environment models into a real-time framework, interfacing hardware models with tactical software, and supporting test and analysis of DE systems; as well as more traditional modeling simulation and analysis efforts including parametric studies, monte carlo simulation, and design of experiments.\nThe High Energy Laser Simulation and Assessment Division supports DoD Modeling and Simulation efforts through specialized software development as well as Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) tools and infrastructure. Our team has a unique blend of engineering, mathematics, and computer science backgrounds, providing our customers with innovative solutions to complex software and hardware problems. This opportunity will give the candidate exposure to principles and practices of engineering design, software design, and systems engineering within the context of Directed Energy systems. Our dynamic High Energy Laser Emulation team works collaboratively across a diverse team of Directed Energy engineers and scientists.\nRequired Skills\n3.2 or higher grade point average (4.0 scale).
