This role will enable you to learn and gain experience in a wide array of engineering disciplines with significant opportunities for deep-dive analytical thinking.\nKey Responsibilities\nReverse engineer and analyze optical subsystems\nDesign optical systems and test setups to support characterization efforts\nGenerate technical reports and data packages to describe system operation\nWork with multidisciplinary teams to characterize, troubleshoot, and repair hardware\nOperate military equipment in laboratory and field test environments to support characterization efforts\nMentor junior engineers\nRequired Qualifications\nUS Citizenship\nActive Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance\n5+ years of related engineering experience. At least 2 years of this experience must include military weapon analysis, repair, and/or testing.\nBachelor’s degree in engineering discipline related to optical engineering\nExperience reverse engineering electo-optical and imaging systems\nExperience generating technical reports and data packages to describe system operation\nExperience analyzing, operating, troubleshooting, and repairing military weapons\nExperience with Python, Solidworks, LabView, and other engineering tools\nUnderstanding of assembly and alignment of systems\nLab, test, and design experience from class and outside projects\nAbility to mentor junior engineers\nRadiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
