The candidate will work with system engineers and other modelers to review, update, test, and document changes to radar models based on finished all-source intelligence products, ensuring the models meet technical and performance specifications and perform as required. Built in Simulink and converted to C++, these models are used by the Air Force and Navy to train pilots and test flight software. Successful candidates will need to have a good understanding of radar operations, a solid foundation in modeling and simulation, and working knowledge of analysis tools such as Matlab/Simulink.\nThe candidate:\nWill communicate and collaborate effectively and efficiently with other technical government and contractor engineers and scientists.\nWill present findings and recommendations to appropriate groups and help determine actionable steps based on the findings.\nWill prepare written, technical reports to management, indicating analytical findings that will be used to support the Intelligence Community. \nMay provide work leadership and training to lower level professional and technical staff. \nMay supervise junior staff and schedule work to meet completion dates. \nRequired Skills:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or relevant technical field\nUS citizenship with a TS/SCI clearance.\nOffers will be contingent upon successful completion of a CI polygraph.\nExperience in radar operations and terminology.\nAbility to perform exploratory analysis and research, and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences\nEffective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate successfully with other internal and external stakeholders\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily understood terms\nStrong analytic, inference, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills\nRequired Experience:\nAt least three years’ experience with radar systems\nPrior experience characterizing radar systems based on incomplete information\nExperience with or extensive knowledge of modeling radars\nDesired Qualifications:\nPrevious ITEAMS experience\nExperience supporting US Government S&TI Centers\nRadiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
