You will work closely with electrical engineers, computer engineers, and technicians to design, build, and test microelectronics solutions and their physical support systems. Responsibilities include mechanical and thermal design and analysis, prototype and low-rate production builds, and failure analysis.\nRequired Qualifications:\nUS Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline\nMinimum of 3.2 GPA (out of 4.0) and must have GPA listed on resume to be considered\n2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a laboratory, R&D, test, prototyping, or experimental environment (A Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering can substitute for the years of experience)\nSelf-motivated and able to work well within research and development team\nDemonstrated hands-on experience in prototyping through events/organizations such as design/build/fly, Formula SAE, CubeSat, or other similar\nExperience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA NX, or similar software packages\nDemonstrated proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), tolerance stack-ups, and design for manufacturing\nDemonstrated experience in heat transfer mechanics and thermal systems, preferably in electrical systems\nExperience with standard electrical laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and power supplies\nExperience creating engineering drawings, CAD models, BOMs, and fabrication documentation\nDesired Qualifications:\nMasters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline\nMachine shop or hands-on fabrication experience (lathes, mills, 3D printers, etc.)\nExperience with Multiphysics analysis tools, such as COMSOL or PLECS\nExperience with high voltage engineering, circuit card mechanical assemblies, pulsed power, prime power, power electronics, RF, and/or antenna development\nExperience integrating PCBs, connectors, cabling, thermal components, and mechanical structures\nExperience with VPX, chassis, card guides, cold plates, heat spreaders, or conduction-cooled electronics\nRadiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
